With Home Care, the important thing is to reach out for support as soon as you feel you may need some help. Our friendly team are very experienced and will be able to point you in the right direction about the personalised support packages we can offer.
You may need support with getting your shopping, making meals or personal care, such as washing and dressing. You may need help with medication or a helping hand with your correspondence and bills. All these can be delivered via Home Care.
Whatever you need help with, we will come along and have a chat with you about what specific needs you have and discuss how we can help you.
A member of our management team will go through your options and support you to find out if you are eligible for financial support.
Home Care is often considered only for older people, but this can be an invaluable resource for people who have other needs such as physical disabilities and mental health support needs. All of our staff are highly trained in learning and physical disabilities and mental health.
Home Care can provide real peace of mind for you and your family. Knowing you have someone popping in to make sure you are safe and have the things you need to keep you well.
An example Home Care package with Blueberry Hill Care could be up to 4 calls per day, dependant on your needs.
4 calls per day can include:
- Morning call – Getting up and washed and dressed in the morning, preparing breakfast and prompting medication.
- Lunchtime call – Support with preparing lunch, going to the toilet, prompting medication.
- Afternoon or Evening Call – Support with an evening meal, going to the toilet, prompting medication.
- Night Call – Support to get ready and ensure you are comfortable in bed.
The above is just an example of what a day of Home Care could look like. In reality, all of our customers have quite different care packages and needs and all support is personalised to the customer. Some of our customers have 4 visits per day and some have as little as one visit per week.
